Oh, I love the full circle moment! Great how you leave the reader guessing what really happened to the father. Is it his psyche rearranging memories to make his relationship with his son more palatable? Or something that was done to him? Or is it actually the son imagining things and/or being in denial? These stories are labeled as taking place 'in the future' so it makes me wonder. Great reminder that all stories really have to do is ask interesting questions.
